Silent Auction Donations & Information:

A silent auction where you can purchase raffle tickets for a chance to win certain items will be held from 4:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., when winners names will be drawn.

To donate silent auction items, please contact Stephanie Janzen at (402) 891-9651 or [email protected] by January 24, 2025, with the item description, image and value.

Please bring your auction item(s) to the conference, or deliver or ship by January 27, 2025, to NUCA of Nebraska, 3901 Normal Blvd., Ste. 100, Lincoln, NE 68506.

The proceeds from the raffle will benefit the NUCA of Nebraska Scholarship Fund. Contributions to the Scholarship Fund allow NUCA of Nebraska to award scholarships to members’ children who are graduating from high school and pursuing post-secondary education or training. Scholarships are also awarded to graduating high school seniors that were in SkillsUSA or FFA and are pursuing post-secondary education or training in construction or anything related to technical programs and trades. Scholarships are also awarded to students enrolled in Central Community College’s Heavy Equipment Operator Technician Program.

Notice of 2025 Annual Business Meeting

 

This serves as your official notice of the 2025 NUCA of Nebraska Annual Business Meeting. The Annual Business Meeting will beThursday, February 6, 2025, at 6:30 p.m. Central in conjunction with the Annual Conference at the Embassy Suites La Vista at 12520 Westport Parkway in La Vista, Nebraska.

 

There are two primary items of business at the Annual Meeting:
1. Elect 2025 NUCA of Nebraska Board of Directors.
2. Provide a state of the association update.

Attached is the Annual Business Meeting agenda and the 2024 Annual Business Meeting minutes.

Slate of Candidates

In accordance with the requirements of the National Utility Contractors Association of Nebraska (NUCA of Nebraska) Bylaws, the following slate of candidates is presented for election at the 2025 Annual Business Meeting:

For Vice President: Jeff Grady from Valley Corp. one-year term with automatic succession to President. Read Jeff’s candidate statement.

For Secretary/Treasurer: Shawn Marquardt from Heimes Corp. for two-year term. Shawn’s candidate statement will be posted when available.

For Contractor Director: Jeff Dickinson from TJ Cable for one-year term to fill Jeff Grady’s remaining Contractor Director term. Read Jeff’s candidate statement.

For Contractor Director (two-year terms):

For Associate Director: Wade Garren from American Underground Supply for two-year term. Read Wade’s candidate statement.
